The main objective of the project, which contributes to the “Innovation Programme 1: Cost-efficient and reliable trains, including high-capacity trains and high-speed trains” and the “Innovation Programme 3: Cost-Efficient and Reliable High-Capacity Infrastructure”, is to develop an integrated approach towards safety and accessibility in the design and development of railway stations, with the aim of obtaining the best balance between the needs of passengers and the infrastructural constraints, with a particular focus on persons with reduced mobility.

During the event the project partners will present the major results achieved by the project, focused on an integrated approach towards safety and accessibility in the design and development of railway stations, with the aim of obtaining the best balance between the needs of passengers and the infrastructural constraints, with a particular focus on persons with reduced mobility. This will be complemented by a virtual demonstration of the proof-of-concepts developed within the project.
